Peter Joseph Incaviglia
B: Apr 2, 1964, Pebble Beach, CA
Pete holds the record for most home runs and RBI in a college career. In 1986, he joined the Rangers without having spent any time in the minor leagues. Feared for his power, Pete twice led the majors in striking out, but he was a hard-swinging outfielder with considerable power feared by most pitchers. In 1993, Petes hitting helped lead the Philadelphia Phillies to the World Series. After coaching in the Tigers minor league system for three seasons, Incaviglia became the first manager of the Grand Prairie AirHogs in the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.
