Joseph Elliot Girardi

As manager of the Marlins in 2006, Joe led baseballs lowest-salaried team to a World Series victory over the Yankees, gaining him the NL Manager of the Year award. As a catcher for the Cubs, Rockies, Yankees and Cardinals, was behind the plate for the Yanks World Series wins in 1996, 1998, and 1999. In 2000, Joe returned to the Chicago Cubs and made the NL All-Star team, his only All-Star appearance. After he retired, Girardi became a broadcaster and then the Yankee bench coach before managing the Marlins. Since 2008, he has managed the Yankees.
