Frank Demaree

From 1935 to 1937, Demaree hit over .300 for the Cubs and started in center field for the NL in the 1936 and 1937 All-Star games. He also played in three World Series for the Cubs, as well as one for the Cardinals. In 1934, Demaree had arguably the greatest minor league season in history by a player for a minor league team, winning the Pacific Coast League Triple Crown playing for the then AAA Los Angeles Angels. His playing career lasted until 1946, after which he retired to Los Angeles. There, he began a career as a lighting grip for Hollywood movies, one he continued to his death in 1958.
