Christopher Louis Bosio

Chris pitched for the Milwaukee Brewers and Seattle Mariners from 1986 to 1996. On April 22, 1993, he tossed a no-hitter against the Boston Red Sox, becoming the second pitcher, and last in Mariners’ history, to hurl one. A power pitcher who was both a starter and reliever, Bosio’s career with the Brewers’ began with a two-hit shutout against Minnesota. In 1988, he boasted a 3.36 ERA. Bosio became the Brewers’ ace 1989 with a 15-10 record and 2.95 ERA. After retiring, Bosio became a pitching coach and has worked on the college, minor league and big league levels.
